On December 8, 2025, Spring Township Police were dispatched to Target for a retail theft suspect in custody.  Police arrived on location, and it was reported that Samira EDWARDS was viewed on surveillance concealing items within her winter coat as she shopped and placed other items within a cart. At check out, she purchased the items in her cart and attempted to leave with the items in her coat without paying for those. The total value of the items not paid for was $196.63. Ultimately, Samira EDWARDS was charged with Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property.
