On December 16, 2025, Spring Township Police were dispatched to an assault that had occurred behind Five Below.  It was reported that a male, identified as Carlos DELGADO, was rummaging through the dumpster behind the business. When the victim confronted DELGADO, he stated he was collecting scrap.  He was instructed to stop and he replied, "I can do what I want". The victim ordered DELGADO to leave and took a picture of him. 

DELGAGO began walking away and the victim followed, asking where he was going. DELGADO continued to walk towards a car that was parked alongside the building. The victim took a picture of the vehicle and upon seeing this, DELGADO turned around and grabbed the victim's phone causing her to tighten her grip around her phone. DELGADO pulled onto the phone harder causing the victim to fall to the ground and lose the grip of her phone. DELGADO then threw the phone over the barrier and down into a deep ravine/retaining pond that is located to the west of Five Below. DELGADO ran to the vehicle and fled the area.

After an investigation, Carlos DELGADO III was arrested for Robbery and Theft by Unlawful Taking.
