On July 9, 2024, Spring Township Police were dispatched to Giant for a report of Retail Theft. It was reported to police that on multiple dates between May and July, a female came into the store, shopped for items, went to the self-checkout and would scan some items and leave without paying for others. Total loss to the store was $1,279.42.  After an investigation, Lynchel COOPER was charged with Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property.
