On June 9, 2026, Spring Township Police were dispatched to Weis Markets for a report of retail theft that occurred on December 23, 2025.  On this date, a male pushed a small shopping cart containing items to the self-check-out. On the bottom rack of the cart were two cases of Monster Energy cans, value of $55.98, and a case of Red Bull, value of $24.99. The male scans items within his cart, totaling $6.48, but fails to scan the cases of drinks.  He then pays the $6.48 and leaves without payment for the drinks. After an investigation, Gregory BECKER was arrested for Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property.
