The South Heidelberg Township Police Department (SHPD) was proudly represented by Officer J. Thomas at the Law Enforcement United (LEU) Ride. Officer Thomas joined 500 other riders on a 250-mile bicycle journey to Washington, DC, supporting LEU's mission to honor fallen law enforcement officers and their surviving families.

Last Saturday, Officer Thomas and the LEU team rode through Sinking Spring, South Heidelberg, and Wernersville. The riders stopped in Sinking Spring to remember fallen Deputy Sheriff Kyle Pagerly and in Reading City to pay tribute to fallen Officers Michael H. Wise and Scott A. Wertz.

The SHPD extends its sincere appreciation to Officer Thomas for his commitment to this significant cause and for representing both the department and the Conrad Weiser community during this event.
