Chief Hook had the pleasure of sitting down with some of our community’s youngest residents and their families to read to them the classic "Officer Buckle and Gloria."   It was a fantastic opportunity to discuss the importance of teamwork and share a reminder of how the SHPD works hand-in-hand with our community to ensure Wernersville remains a safe place for families and businesses to thrive.

The kids asked some insightful questions, and it was a joy to show them some of the equipment we use every day.  We hope this visit sparked a little interest, perhaps we'll see some of these bright young minds serving our community one day!

Thank you to the Wernersville Library for hosting us and for creating such a safe, fun, and engaging experience for our officers to connect with the community.   We look forward to the next one!
