In June 2026, the South Heidelberg Township Police Department (SHPD) conducted a series of focused traffic details at five specific locations to address high complaint volumes and reports of reckless or aggressive driving.   The goal of these efforts was to ensure roadway safety across our shared jurisdictions.

The following locations were targeted in the month of June:

• Primrose Ln. @ S. Sandy and Ivy Ln.: 7 traffic details performed, focusing on stop sign enforcement.
• Stitzer Ave. @ W. Wilson Ave.: 5 traffic details performed, focusing on stop sign enforcement.
• Robesonia Borough Crosswalk Enforcement, 6 traffic enforcement details performed:
  • Penn Ave. @ N. Linden St.
  • Penn Ave. @ Robeson St.
  • Penn Ave. @ N. Elm St.
  • Penn Ave. @ S. Wayne St.
• Carriage Dr. @ Beckley St.: 4 traffic details performed, focusing on stop sign enforcement.
• Furnace Rd. @ Franklin St.: 9 traffic details performed, focusing on speeding enforcement.
