South Heidelberg Police Department Collaborates with Western Berks Fire Department for Entry Training

The South Heidelberg Police Department recently teamed up with the Western Berks Fire Department for a collaborative training exercise.

In a shocking turn of events, the age-old rivalry between the Police Department 🚓 and the Fire Department 🔥 was temporarily suspended for joint entry training.

Today’s focus: coordinated building entry, communication, and making sure we don’t trip over each other when things get real. Turns out, when you combine tactical door breaching with people who literally carry axes for a living… doors don’t stand a chance.

The joint effort focused on entry training, with officers participating in both single-man and two-man entry scenarios.
