National School Bus Safety Week runs through October 22nd. PennDOT works with Pennsylvania State and Municipal police departments to conduct Operation Safe Stop. Operation Safe Stop is a proactive approach to educate the motoring public that passing a stopped school bus, when children are loading or unloading, is dangerous and illegal. The schools team up with law enforcement to document, and report school bus violations. This allows the police departments to identify problem areas so we can narrow our focus.

The Robeson Township Police Department, along with the Twin Valley School District and Eshelman Transportation, will continue to work together to ensure our children are transported to and from school safely. 

The Robeson Township Police Department is a registered partner with Operation Safe Stop.
