Our office has been receiving calls about a scam circulating through our township residents recently. 

If you receive a call from someone claiming to be a sheriff, stating you missed jury duty and now owe a fine or face arrest, this is a scam and you should not provide any personal information or pay any money; instead, hang up immediately and contact your local law enforcement agency to report the incident.
