On September 11, 2026, Judge Thomas G. Parisi found Matthew Slauch, 25 years old, of Robeson Township guilty of Homicide by Vehicle. ADA Jason Glessner of the Berks County District Attorney's Office presented the case for the Commonwealth with Detective Sergeant Chad Eberly listed as the Affiant. 

Slauch's sentencing hearing has been scheduled for October 20, 2026.
