This morning we received a report of a theft from a vehicle in the 700 block of Ranck Road which occurred sometime between 8 P.M. and 5 A.M. this morning. Our department will being following up and attempt to gather additional information leading to arrest.
We are also aware of theft from numerous vehicles and stolen vehicles in Elverson Borough during the overnight hours. Information gathered is that these thefts occurred after midnight into the early hours.
Our department has been in contact with the PA State Police Embreeville to exchange information on these thefts.
We again urge all residents to remove items along with the keys and to make sure the vehicles are locked. Also close make sure your garage doors and sheds are closed and secured. Information gathered so far is that the suspects exited a vehicle and walked up into person's yards checking cars and garages to see if they were unlocked.
We again residents to call 911 anytime of the day or night if you see something that you feel is not right. We rather check things our then miss a chance on stopping a crime.
In regards to the two suspects for the Walmart theft yesterday we have determined that they were not involved in the above crimes. Both suspects had already left the area by the time of the above incidents occurring. We are continuing our investigation and should be making arrest on those two in the near future.
