It looks like we will be getting our first measurable snow storm this evening into tomorrow morning. Our Public Works Department has already pretreated our roads with the brine mixture. They will monitor the start of the storm to see when they need to get our and salt and or plow our streets.
We are remaining our residents of the Township's ordinance prohibiting parking of vehicles on the street while they are snow covered. Vehicles must remain off the street's until the storm ends and roads have been cleared of all snow. Another reminder is that it is prohibited from blowing snow into the street. Also a reminder to the contractor's not permitted to plow from snow out into the streets.
Please take a few minutes this evening to make arrangements to move your vehicles before the storm or heading off to bed. Our Police Officer's would prefer not to be the Grinch during this event and issue parking tickets.
thank you for your cooperation.
