Incident Summary: Domestic Dispute and Illegal Firearm Possession

On today’s date at approximately 12:30 p.m., Eastern Regional Mon Valley Police Officers responded to a domestic dispute. In an effort to mediate the situation, Officers offered to assist an individual by providing transportation to a relative's house.

Prior to being given a ride, the individual concealed a handgun in their pocket, which they possessed illegally. The Officers were surprised by this action.

As a result, the handgun was seized, and the individual was charged accordingly.
