On April18, 2026, at around 2:03 a.m., the Eastern Regional Mon Valley Police Department responded to reports of a shooting incident in the 800 block of Braddock Avenue, Braddock Borough. Upon arrival at approximately 2:06 a.m., officers found multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment, however, sadly one victim was pronounced deceased on the scene. 

As of this press release, the scene remains active and under investigation, with a section of Braddock Avenue closed to both pedestrians and vehicles. The Eastern Regional Mon Valley Police Department requests anyone with information about this incident to contact us or the Allegheny County Police Department, who are leading the investigation.
