The family of Nichole Denise Hogan, in partnership with North Braddock Borough, will host the 5th Annual Blood Drive in Memory of Nichole Denise Hogan on Thursday, June 18, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Carnegie One Braddock Library, 419 Library Street, Braddock, PA 15104.
Now in its fifth year, this special community blood drive honors the life and legacy of Nichole Denise Hogan by inviting residents, families, neighbors, and community partners to give the gift of life. The event serves as a meaningful way to remember Nichole’s compassion, generosity, and lasting impact on those who knew and loved her.
“This blood drive is more than an event; it is an act of love, remembrance, and community care,” said Dr. Lisa Franklin-Robinson, President of North Braddock Borough Council. “Each person who donates helps carry forward Nichole’s legacy by giving someone else a chance at life, healing, and hope.”
The blood drive is being held in partnership with the American Red Cross, with support from community partners including North Braddock Borough, Carnegie One, Braddock’s Battlefield History Center, The Mon Metro Chamber of Commerce, and U.S. Steel.
Community members are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance by scanning the QR code on the event flyer or by visiting rcblood.org/June. Those who give blood between June 1 and June 28 may be eligible to receive a $15 e-gift card and will also have a chance to win a $7,500 prize, according to the American Red Cross promotion.
The public is invited to participate, share the flyer, and encourage others to donate.
