On Sunday evening, January 25, Mike Foyle, Mayor of the Borough of Brentwood, issued a declaration of a State of Emergency due to severe winter weather conditions.
Significant snowfall, extreme cold, and ongoing safety concerns prompted this declaration.
Residents are strongly encouraged to avoid non-essential travel and remain home if possible while hazardous conditions persist.
Public Works crews will continue working around the clock to clear and treat roadways. Police, fire, and emergency medical services remain fully operational.
