Many calls are received each day on the Police Administrative line at the station, and we wanted to send out this reminder that the majority should be contacting 911.
Calls will be prioritized - emergent & non-emergent and will be dispatched accordingly. Any call that requires an officer to be dispatched, MUST go through 911 - this is to track incident locations as well as officer location and safety.
This includes - parking complaints, suspicious activity, wires down, lost pets, theft & fraud reports, missing persons, domestic violence, and the list goes on.
The administrative number should be used for general inquires (reports, record requests, paying parking tickets).
Even if you feel as though your situation / issue isn't an emergency, please call 911 and they will dispatch someone for you.
