New Year's Eve Safety Reminder
As we bid farewell to 2025 and welcome 2026, the Brentwood Borough Police Department would like to remind everyone to celebrate responsibly and safely. Let's make this New Year's Eve a night to remember for all the right reasons!
In the spirit of the season, we'd like to share a poem that resonates with our commitment to serving and supporting our community:
"To leave the old with a burst of song, to recall the right and forgive the wrong
To forget the things that bind you fast, to the vain regrets of the year that's past
To have the strength to let go your hold, of the not worthwhile of the days grown old
To dare go forth with a purpose true, to the unknown task of the year that's new
To help your brother along the road, to do his work & lift his load
To add your gift to the world's good cheer, is to have and to give a Happy New Year"
As you celebrate, please remember to:
- If you drink, please do responsibly and plan ahead for a safe ride home.
- Be mindful of your surroundings and look out for one another.
- Report any suspicious activity or concerns to us.
Let's work together to make this New Year's Eve a joyous and safe celebration for everyone in our community. Happy 2026!
