Public Safety Announcement: Animal Welfare Investigation

This morning, our department was alerted to a concerning social media post suggesting an animal cruelty incident involving a cat being thrown from a vehicle. We immediately launched an investigation and thoroughly reviewed the available visual evidence.

Although our investigation did not uncover any criminal activity, sadly, the cat involved in the incident did not survive. We want to express our appreciation to the community for bringing this incident to our attention, which allowed us to promptly investigate and take appropriate action.
