On 8.2.2017 at approximately 1947 hours, Brentwood Borough Police received a report of an armed robbery that had taken place in the vicinity Brentwood Park. The victim was deprived of a bicycle and an I-Phone. Through investigation, officers were able to identify the suspect from surveillance cameras and the suspected stolen property was located on an online re-sale site. A person of interest was developed and through further investigation, a suspect was identified. Brentwood Borough officers along with the help of Whitehall Borough Police Officers were able to locate the suspect at a friends address on Cloverlea Street in our town. The suspect who is a 15 year old male juvenile was found to be in possession of 2 firearms that are believed to be stolen. The firearm theft case was referred to Whitehall Borough Police for further investigation. The juvenile was charged as an adult with (1) count of Robbery, (2) violations of the Uniform Firearms Act, and (1) count of Receiving Stolen Property and transported to the Allegheny County Jail for arraignment.
