It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Officer Ronald "Sal" Salamon, a dedicated and beloved member of the Bellevue Police Department. Sal began his distinguished career with the Bellevue PD in 1966 and served the community with pride until his retirement in 1999.

Sal was more than just a colleague; he was a friend to many within the Bellevue community. He took great pride in being an officer in the community where he lived and raised his family. His infectious enthusiasm and zest for life made him a sought-after companion for any occasion, whether it was a fishing trip, a party, or a day on the golf course.

Our deepest condolences go out to Kathy and the Salamon family during this difficult time.
