On Saturday, March 7, 2026, police conducted a traffic stop on a Lexus ES in the 100 block of Second Street for a vehicle registration violation. During the stop, officers identified the driver as Jeray Anderson. While police were conducting a roadside investigation, Anderson exited the vehicle and fled on foot, leaving it running and abandoned. A tow truck was requested for the vehicle. During a subsequent inventory search, officers located suspected marijuana outside the vehicle.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 28-year-old Jeray Anderson, who resides in the 2200 block of Logan Street, Harrisburg.
