Due to high winds last evening, and continued wind gusts into today, multiple trees have fallen in the township. Some of these trees have fallen on utility lines, causing outages. The appropriate utility companies have been notified and are responding toe return service to the area. The following roadways are closed:

Buck Hollow Road, between Haycreek Road and Zion Road. Cones an barricades are in place at these interestions. The roadway is open for local traffic to go to their homes. That would be from the Zion/Buck Hollow Road up to 74 Buck Hollow Road. The tree on Buck Hollow Road is at 74 Buck Hollow Road.

Cedar Hill Road. The tree is down between 282 and 306 Cedar Hill Road. Cedar Hill Road is closed at Cocalico Road and Main Street (724). Local traffi can travel on these roads to go to and from their homes. 

Power is out in parts of the township with an estimated restoration time of 11:00 Pm tomorrow Feb. 18, 2025.

Remember: Do not approached downed power lines. The lines may still be energized.
