The Corning Police Department is saddened to announce the passing of retired Chief Richard T. "Dick" Faulisi on April 10, 2026. Chief Faulisi was a dedicated public servant who devoted his life to serving the community.
On April 24, 2026, our department had the honor of attending the funeral service to pay respects to Chief Faulisi's remarkable legacy. Notably in attendance were several retired members of the Corning Police Department who worked alongside Chief Faulisi for many years.
Chief Faulisi's career with the Corning Police Department spanned over four decades, beginning in 1960. Throughout his tenure, he demonstrated unwavering commitment and dedication, rising through the ranks to become the Chief of Police. His leadership and vision played a significant role in shaping our department into the esteemed agency it is today.
During his 40-year tenure, Chief Faulisi worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of the Corning community. His selflessness, integrity, and passion for service inspired countless officers and left an indelible mark on our department.
The Corning Police Department extends its deepest condolences to Chief Faulisi's family, friends, and former coworkers. We share in their grief and celebrate the life of a remarkable individual who dedicated his life to serving others.
