On July 6th, 2026, Corning Police Officers responded to a residence on Park Ave. in Corning for a reported assault. Following officers' investigation 39 year-old Erica N. Woodard was arrested for Assault 3rd Degree and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing. Ms. Woodard was processed on the arrest at the Corning Police Dept. and subsequently transported to the Steuben County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
