On March 28th, 2026, Corning Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on Seneca St. in Corning. Following an investigation, Officers arrested 42 year-old Joshua A. Scott, of Corning, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree. Additionally Mr. Scott was issued a traffic ticket for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 2nd Degree. Mr. Scott was processed on the arrest at the Corning Police Dept. and subsequently transported to the Steuben County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
