On September 26th, 2026, Corning Police Officers responded to Conhocton St. for the report of a domestic incident. Following officers' investigation, 33 year-old Amanda R. Painter was arrested for Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree for violating a Corning City Court order of protection. Ms. Painter was processed on the arrest at the Corning Police Dept. and subsequently transported to the Steuben County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
