On August 24th, 2026, Corning Police Officers responded to Reynolds Ave for the report of a stolen e-bike. Following an investigation, On September 10th Corning Police Officers arrested 56 year-old Joseph P Heverly , of Corning, for Petit Larceny. During his arrest, Heverly was additionally charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd Degree. Heverly was also found to have had an active Bench Warrant issued by the City Of Corning Court. Mr. Heverly was processed on the arrest at the Corning Police Dept. and subsequently transported to the Steuben County Jail to await arraignment.
