On February 27th, 2026, Corning Police Officers arrested 22 year-old Rosalia A. Erazo, of Elmira, for Possession Forged Instrument (felony), Criminal Possession Stolen Property 5th Degree and Petit Larceny. Ms. Erazo's arrest came following an investigation into a report of stolen checks from September, 2025. Ms. Erazo was processed on the arrest at the Corning Police Dept. and subsequently transported to the Steuben County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
