The METRO SWAT team stopped by the Youth Academy to talk to our students about their assignments and training. They also brought the Bearcat and heavy equipment for the kids to demo. 

The METRO SWAT team is comprised of members from Binghamton PD, Johnson City PD and Vestal PD. This group trains together several times a month to stay ready for the unknown. In addition to the weekly trainings, the METRO SWAT team is certified by NYS and attends state mandated training to stay certified.
