The Vestal Youth Police Academy marked its 13th anniversary on July 7th, welcoming a new group of middle school students. Over the next week, they will engage with our School Resource Officers (SROs) to gain insight into police operations and participate in team-building activities. On the first day, the students experienced a live Taser demonstration led by Sergeant Carman and SRO O'Connor, explored Drones and Humvees, and enjoyed the water slide and SRO dunk tank to cool off. We are thrilled to see such strong interest in this program and look forward to spending more time with this energetic group. Stay tuned for daily updates!
