Caernarvon Township, Berks County has declared a Snow Emergency beginning Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 6 P.M. through Monday, January 26, 2026 - 2 P.M.
All vehicles must be removed from all township streets through the snow emergency, NO EXCEPTIONS. Any vehicles in violations will be ticketed and can be towed at owners expense. Please rmove all vehicles from streets starting Saturday night to avoid any violations.
Our Public Works Director will be monitoring the various resources at his disposal to determine the actual time that they will start their operations for the storm.
We also ask resident that may have a fire hydrant near there house to clear a 3FT path around in case fire department needs to use it.
In the event of a power failure in the Township we will open our township's social hall as a warning station. If you need the Police, Fire or E.M.S. for emergency please call 911. For non emergencies for the police you can call 610-655-4911.
