On April 30, 2026, at approximately 10:26 a.m., a single-vehicle collision occurred in the Magnolia Street Municipal Parking Lot. The vehicle entered a nearby canal, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.

A bystander in the area assisted the vehicle operator in safely exiting the vehicle through the driver's side window onto the roof of the vehicle before emergency responders arrived. Emergency Medical Services evaluated the operator on scene and did not report any injuries.

Police and fire personnel secured the scene, and the vehicle was removed from the canal by Lynch's Towing without further incident.
