On February 14, 2026, at approximately 1333 hours Milton Police were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Atlantic Street, south of Walnut Street. A grey in color Honda Accord was observed by an officer traveling north on Atlantic Street, and upon checking its speed, the grey Honda Accord was found to be traveling at 40 mph, exceeding the 25 mph speed limit. The officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle, but the vehicle fled, prompting a pursuit during which the vehicle committed multiple traffic violations.  Shortly after, the vehicle came to a stop, and the suspect was apprehended without incident and taken into custody.  

The suspect was identified as Shania Hopkins Rowley, who was subsequently arraigned on 10 charges, to include 1 felony, 1 misdemeanor, and 8 traffic offenses. She was released on a $1,180.00 bond.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
