Incident Summary

Lochbuie Police Department Officers initiated a traffic stop in the QuickTrip parking lot, where they contacted the driver of a black Dodge Ram 2500 pickup displaying a stolen Colorado registration. The driver, a 33-year-old male, was identified and detained.

Upon request, a Hudson PD K9 unit responded to the scene to assist with the investigation. A free-air sniff conducted by the K9 unit produced a positive alert, leading to a probable cause search of the vehicle.

During the search, officers located a substance that tested presumptively positive for methamphetamine, along with a digital scale and burglary tools.
