On 02/17/26, the Weld County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) conducted a traffic stop on a white Chevrolet Monte Carlo with Colorado registration DRN-X25 at the Barn Store. Hudson Officers assisted WCSO during the stop. The driver, a 47-year-old male, was identified as TIMOTHY BARR. WCSO had probable cause to arrest BARR on felony charges related to a separate incident. When ordered to exit the vehicle, BARR refused to comply with officers' instructions, assuming a fighting position and stating that he would need to be tased and shot before being taken into custody. K-9 Apollo was deployed, and BARR was warned that he would be bitten if he continued to resist arrest. He subsequently decided against resisting and was taken into custody by WCSO without incident. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Note: The Hudson Police Department assisted WCSO during this incident.
