Incident Summary

On Hudson 02/272026, A Hudson Police Department K9 officer assisted the Greeley Police Department during an auto theft task force operation in Greeley. The request for assistance was made due to a suspect wanted for kidnapping, felony menacing, and assault at 305 19th Ave.

Containment was established around the residence, and announcements were made to the suspect. The individual surrendered peacefully, bringing the situation to a safe resolution.

Hudson PD officers are assigned to the Auto Theft Task Force through a Colorado State grant.
