Incident Summary
On 03/21/2026, Hudson Police Department officers conducted a traffic stop on a gold Buick Le Sabre near the intersection of Hwy 52 and WCR 43.
The driver, a 34-year-old male, was contacted and identified. A K9 free air sniff and positive alert led to a probable cause search of the vehicle, resulting in the seizure of 1.35 grams of fentanyl and 2.38 grams of methamphetamine.
The driver was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving without insurance. The vehicle was impounded, and the driver was transported to the Weld County Jail.
During the booking process, deputies discovered an additional 26 fentanyl pills (approximately 2.6 grams) concealed on the driver's person. The driver was subsequently charged with 1st degree introduction of contraband.
A total of 2.38 grams of methamphetamine and 36 fentanyl pills (3.95 grams) were seized during the investigation.
