The Warminster Township Police Department has recently taken took numerous reports of thefts from vehicles/of vehicles. Small groups of thieves are targeting our streets in the middle of the night. They pull on car doors until they find one unlocked and then YOU become their next victim. Motion activated lights are not enough. Set your cameras to send an alert when there is movement on your property and dial 9-1-1 if you see someone around your vehicles and home. Contact police if you are a victim of a theft so that we can track the crime trends.
The owners of these vehicles did NOT become victims because they took a few seconds to lock their car doors...
