On Monday, February 4th, 2019 at 7:18 PM, the Upper Providence Township Police were dispatched to a report of a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian who had been struck on Ridge Pike at the entrance to the Court at Upper Providence Shopping Center. This is in the Royersford section of Upper Providence Township. Upon arrival, members of Upper Providence Township Police found that 22-year-old Nohemi Ocampo had been struck and killed by a Jeep traveling eastbound, while crossing Ridge Pike. The operator of the Jeep remained on scene and is cooperating with police. Anyone with information about this crash, or who may have witnessed it, is asked to contact Sgt.
