On 12/24/2018, police arrested William James Miller and Jeffery E. Shustack after being called to the area of Iroquois Avenue and Pawnee Road, New Britain Borough, for the report of theft. A local resident had observed the two taking gift cards off of trash receptacles that had been intended for the trash collectors. Upon making contact with the defendants, officers searched their vehicle finding a total of 22 gift cards, drug paraphernalia,  and a check made out to a third party not present, among other things.  Shustack was also found to have two active warrants for his arrest. Both men were arraigned before Judge Armitage, bail was set at 10% of $50,000 and were remanded to Bucks County Prison.

Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
