On November 15, 2018 at approximately 1500 hrs. the City of Bradford Police were dispatched to 7B Kiwanis Court, in the City of Bradford for an alleged assault and theft. Upon arrival, Sgt. Jason Daugherty met the victim whom was visibly injured. The victim reported that the actor, had asked to borrow $20.00 from her and she initially agreed. The actor, Bobbie Jo Smith was accompanied by another known female. Once they arrived at the victims residence they informed her the money was for them to buy drugs. The victim told them she would not lend money for that and an argument ensued inside the residence.
Bobbie Jo Smith then punched the victim in the face and tackled her to the ground in front of her young juvenile daughter. During the course of the struggle Smith took and maintained control of the $20.00 bill.
Bobbie Jo Smith continued to assault the victim by pulling her hair from her head and spitting on her. Smith bit the the victim on her back, leaving a wound. Smith then grabbed a loose brick and attempted to strike the victim in the head but missed and damaged the wall at head level. Smith then grabbed a hammer and swung it at the victim's head again missing.
Bobbi Jo Smith was subsequently arrested, charged and remanded to McKean County Jail.
