On Saturday April 14 2018 at about 7:22pm police received a phone call from a concerned relative asking police to check the welfare of an a residence in the 100 blk of Echo Rd. Police arrived and found that found that a physical domestic occurred earlier that day. Police interviewed the  victim who advised  that during a verbal altercation the defendant Raul D Cortes struck her in the face. Police observed a large bruise on the side of the victims face. Cortes was arrested and charged with  one count of Simple Assault and one count of Harassment. He was transported to the Cumberland County Central Booking Center for arraignment and processing.
