On Thursday 05 April 2018 at approximately 2042 hrs. Officers from Platoon A responded to the area of the 500 blk. First St. at Old Dorwart St. for a report of a stabbing.
Officers arrived and located a 17 year old male with a single stab wound to the abdomen. The male was conscious and talking when Officers arrived. Officers administered first aid to the male by using a bandage to cover the wound. The male was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The injury does not appear to be life threatening.
Officers secured the scene and located a knife in the same area where the victim had been found. Officers and Detectives continued to canvas the area for additional evidence, witnesses and video surveillance cameras.
Officers later determined that the victim, a resident of Lancaster Township, had been reported as a missing juvenile/runaway to the Manheim Township Police Department.
No suspect(s) have been identified as of 06 April 2018. This case is still under invesrtigation.
