On January 30th, 2018 at 1514 hours, officers were dispatched to Turkey Hill Market, for a theft of keys and wallet from a booth. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the victim, a Turkey Hill employee, who stated that she had taken a break and left her wallet and keys at the booth.  When she checked a short time later she found the items to be missing. Employees on duty at the time recalled seeing Willard Traugh in the store at the time of the theft. Officers spoke with Traugh who initially denied taking the items. When informed of Turkey Hill’s surveillance system Traugh stated that he had taken the items and hid them under a bush a short distance away. The items were retrieved and returned to their owner.
