On Thursday 28 September 2017 at approximately 1403 hrs. Officers from Platoon C responded to the CVS at 32 W. Lemon St. for a Robbery that just occurred. The information provided by the staff was that an unknown male entered the store and produced a note demanding prescription painkillers. The male left the store and got into a burgundy Dodge Durango. A staff member was able to record the vehicle registration. That information was provided to Officers via radio.
At approximately 1415 hrs. Off. Steven Alexander spotted the suspect vehicle on the 1st blk. Green St. He followed the vehicle to the 1st blk. Dauphin St. where a high-risk vehicle stop was made. The driver of the vehicle was detained as well as a female passenger. The driver, Jose L. Felix-Deleon was positively identified as the suspect that had just committed the Robbery that the CVS.
Felix-Deleon was already wanted for a theft of a cell phone incident that had occurred at Reveron 402 W. King St. on 21 September 2017. Off. Andrew Williams had obtained a warrant for Felix-Deleon in that case.
Felix-Deleon was also charged with a similar robbery that had occured at the Weis Market pharmacy 1603 Lincoln Hwy East in East Lampeter Twp.on 22 September 2017. ELTPD Det. Edgell charged Felix-Deleon in that case.
Felix-Deleon was held for arraignment and committed to LCP in lieu of $75,000 bail for the Robbery at CVS, $1,000 for the Theft at Reveron. Bail information for the Robbery in East Lampeter Twp. was not available.
All persons accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
