On October 11, 2026, at 0854 hours, the Pocono Township Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Tannersville. Upon arrival, the victim reported being choked and bitten by their ex-boyfriend following a dispute. The victim displayed visible marks consistent with their account.

As a result of the investigation, Richard Willaum-Smith, a 24-year-old male from Lackawaxen, PA, was arrested and charged accordingly. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
