No Pay, No Smile: Wegmans Theft Ends in Arrest

On October 4, 2026, Warrington Police responded to Wegmans for the report of a retail theft.

Loss prevention reported that 20-year-old Andrew Joseph Melvin of Warrington selected Crest Whitestrips valued at $36.99 and two reusable bags valued at $0.99 each.

Melvin exited the store while failing to pay for the merchandise.

Melvin was placed under arrest and transported to the police station, where he was processed and released.

Criminal charges, and any discussion thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
