On February 18th, 2026, the Lower Allen Township Police Department was dispatched to Mallard Court for a dumpster fire. A witness reported a man with a small dog was at the dumpster just prior to the fire. Police had responded to a nearby business earlier in the evening regarding a man with a small dog after he was involved in a fight. 

Through investigation with several businesses and video cameras police were able to confirm both suspects were linked. Police also found that Hampden had arrested him after the dumpster fire at Sheetz, 5201 Simpson Ferry Road. The suspect was identified as Jason Wivell

The fire caused a total of $2495.44 worth of damage to the dumpster.

Charges were filed and a warrant was issued for Wivell.
